Blake Jacobs was born and raised in a historic suburb of Washington, DC. She moved to the Winston-Salem area to attend Salem College, and graduated with a major in art history in 1987. She stayed to live and work in this area, and spent 12 years dedicating herself to the successful development of the downtown Arts District. Blake began her career in real estate in 1991. Her goal as an agent is to keep the process of buying or selling a home as stress-free as possible, and she truly enjoys the challenge of finding the perfect home for her clients. Her experience in the Arts District has made Blake an expert in the downtown real estate market. In her free time, Blake enjoys volunteering with the local chapter of Meals on Wheels. She also likes to stay active, and some of her favorite leisure activities include biking around Salem Lake and playing tennis at Hanes Park. An avid photographer, Blake also enjoys taking photos at Reynolda Gardens. The West End is Blake's favorite part of town, and she admires the diversity and livability that this small city is able to provide. When Blake decides to head out of Winston for a weekend, she likes to venture to Asheville or to Wrightsville Beach. She also recommends hiking at Stone Mountain for a great day trip. Blake is detail oriented and focused on her client's wants and needs. Though not a local by birth, Blake's contribution to the downtown revitalization process and active participation in the community for the past 20 years make her a strong and knowledgeable local agent. |
