Career: Karin Head began her career at WEZK radio, in Knoxville, then went to work for the Gannett Corporation at USA TODAY in Marketing. She was recruited by another Gannett newspaper, and the largest in the state, The Tennessean to work in Advertising. She opened her own business after moving to North Carolina in 2002, called Head Paper Company, a stationery and invitation company, while proudly raising her wonderful children. She began her real estate career in 2008 when she saw a great opportunity to jump into a field she knows well and could not imagine a more professional and client-focused firm than Leonard Ryden Burr Real Estate. Education: University of Tennessee, B.S. Communications, 1993, focus on Advertising, Marketing and Media Middle Tennessee State University, attended the Business School for International Marketing Volunteer work: Forsyth County school volunteer, PTA Board, Fundraising Chair and other committees, Member First Presbyterian Church, Sunday School teacher, Children's Choir leader, VBS hospitality organizer, Ronald McDonald House volunteer, YMCA volunteer, Youth and Government chaperone, soccer coach, Greystone Place HOA secretary, Mt Tabor Preschool, former PTO chair and board member, and more! Philosophy: Love what you do and do what you love! Karin lives this in her personal and professional life. For clients it means excellence in sales and marketing, negotiating, planning, organizing and execution. A great attitude at all times. She truly believe that the Triad is one of the greatest places in the world to call home and feels so fortunate to grow older and grayer here! References: Please let Karin know if you'd like to discuss her services with clients. A note from the Browns in August 2009: "We have worked with 14 realtors in the last several years, and Karin Head was by far the most impressive. In just one week she was able to secure a solid contract on our house for 98% of the asking price. Her enthusiasm is contagious."
